LONDON

This Easter Holidays I went to London for about four days. The city really impressed me. Due to, I'm gonna tell you about my experience.

Accommodation

As for the hotel, we stayed in Apex City of London Hotel. The rooms were clean and big and the hotel was just next to the Tower of London, in te City.

First Day

We arrived at 12:00 P.M, so after having lunch, we only had the afternoon. That they we just wandered around the Tower of London, the Tower Bridge, and we walked next to the Thames up to the Globe, which was closed because of works. We had dinner in a restaurant nearby and we crossed the river again. We passed in front of St Paul's Cathedral and we continued our way to the hotel. 

Second Day

We woke up and had breakfast. Then, we too the underground to go to Greenwhich, to see the Cutty Sark, a famous ship, and then we decided to took a boat across the Thames. Up to Westminster Abbey, we went down to see it. After that, we made our way to Buckinham Palace and the parks that surround it. We had lunch in a pub, and next, we went to the London Eye. We were really tired and we rested a few hours in the hotel and we had dinner near Covent Garden. Then we went to see a musical at the Lyceum, specifically, The Lion King, which I enjoyed very much.

Third Day

On the third day we were there, we went to Candem Town, it's a huge market and it's worth to see, but I reccomend going there early because if not, there are loads of tourists and it might be a little oppressive. When we had seen it, we took the tube again to Covent Garden, another place that I truly reccomend, since it's full of life. We also visited Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. In the afternoon, we went to Piccadilly Circus, and we basically wandered through the streets until dinner time. Therefore it was our last day there, we ate in a pretty good place in Covent Garden.

Fourth Day

We didn't do anything that day. Our flight departed early, so we only took a taxi to the airport. 

It was a good weekend, despite the rain!
